Leading up to this month we had been very busy with our August and September brides, a very popular month and many dresses to be made, altered and delivered.
Alongside this we were working long hours on our stand, marketing materials and some new dresses to show at the wedding show in Harrogate.
The day before the show we travelled to Harrogate to set up our stand, it was a new adventure and allowed us to see what else happened in the wedding world, we returned to Newcastle to then return the next day to meet the buyers and other exhibitors and show off our gorgeous designs.
Jess and I had booked into the Lawrence apartment’s right opposite Harrogate exhibition centre, it was amazing, and one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything anyone would ever need and would highly recommend it to anyone who was visiting Harrogate whether business or pleasure.
The three days passed quickly and we met some lovely people
On our return it was all systems go as we had some more brides and their maids to see and more dresses to fit and alter for our October and November weddings, including our very own Jess’s wedding where for once, the roles will be reversed and we will see what it is like from the other side, her being bride and me being Mother of the Bride.
We were also happy to have been selected as a regional runner up in the North East Awards, sadly we did not win but feel we have come a long way from opening our doors and long may it continue. Again, a massive thank you to all of our past and present brides for their support!
